Online Voter Registration

Yes, Oregon has Online Voter Registration. Applicant’s signature must be in DMV database. You can register online here.

Voter ID

Oregon has no voter ID requirements.

Vote-By-Mail

Oregon does have “no-excuse” vote-by-mail. All voters in Oregon are mailed a ballot. Your ballot must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Early Voting

All voters in Oregon are mailed a ballot. Each county elections office provides privacy booths for voter who want to vote in person or voters who need assistance. Contact county elections offices for dates and times. Ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.​​​​​​​​

Automatic Voter Registration (Motor Voter)

Yes, Oregon has Automatic Voter Registration. When individual “interacts” with DMV (new, renewal, or replacement license, permit, or ID card) he/she will automatically receive an Oregon Motor Voter Card through the mail. The individual will then have the opportunity to select a political party (if they choose), and also the opportunity to decline to be registered.

Minor Pre-Registration

Oregon allows voters to pre-register at the age of 16.
