Online Voter Registration

Voter ID

Nebraska has no voter ID requirements.


Nebraska does have “no-excuse” vote-by-mail. You must request your ballot by close of business on the 2nd Friday preceding the election. Your ballot must be received by close of polls on Election Day.

Early Voting

Nebraska has in-person early voting. Early voting begins 30 days before Election Day and ends the Monday before Election Day. Early voting is located at County Election Offices. More information early voting is available here.

Automatic Voter Registration (Motor Voter)

Nebraska has no Automatic Voter Registration.
